
Wise Up is for teenage girls in Year 7 and above we meet each Monday in the Blue Room at Beulah after school from 3.45 – 5pm.
It offers a continuous programme of discussion and activity relating to teenage health issues in a fun environment. It tackles topics such as friendship, confidence, image, peer pressure, food, boys, smoking, alcohol and drugs.
Wise Up is a project that works with young women affirming them of their self-worth, and equipping them to make wise and informed decisions in situations that they face. Wise Up offers an alternative, and holistic health education underpinned by each individuals worth and value.
Wise Up provides a place for girls to make friends, ask questions and gain confidence in themselves
Promotes the value of living a healthy lifestyle in a contemporary way
Helps young teenage girls to understand the pressures they face
Helps to prepare young teenage girls to make wise decisions as they grow older
Encourages young teenage girls to respect their femininity and value their virginity
