
Beulah Baptist Church is recognised as a fair trade church and is proud to support the principles of Fair Trade.
We as a church in Beulah have made a commitment to support fair trade through our various organisations by using fairly traded products and products sold by fair trade companies whenever possible.
The idea is to support producers in third world countries through our buying products that guarantee them a living and stable wage even if this sometimes means paying a bit more for those products. Enabling people to support themselves through trade seems far more effective in the long run than emergency aid.
Fair Trade goods are also now on sale in the Clifford hall once a month in between the morning services [generally on the third Sunday of the month].
