The World Focus Group's role is to raise and maintain awareness of and support for missions, particularly but not exclusively overseas. Of the many organisations that exist, we have a special interest in BMS World Mission because it is our denominational responsibility.
We have quarterly World Focus Information and Prayer Evening on a Wednesday evening from 7.30 pm in the Buckhurst Room.
We hold an annual garden party for BMS.
We have the responsibility of allocating Beulah's tithe for mission work - the largest slice going to BMS, along with other gifts through the BMS birthday scheme, collecting boxes, etc. We have also given gifts to the London City Mission, Teafund, Leprosy Mission, Good Samaritans (Uganda), Action Partners, Mission Aviation Fellowship, Tools with a Mission to name a few.
