Assistant Minister

Dan was born in Bristol and grew up in a Christian home. He became a Christian in his teens and was baptised at 14. He studied video conferencing and worked as an installation and support engineer.

He attended Ebenezer Evangelical Church, where he led youth work and had the opportunity to preach. Having sensed a call to study Christian Theology and Ministry he went Moorlands College in September 2006.
During his time at Moorlands, he gained an Honours degree in Applied Theology and had ministry training placements at Ferndown United Church (Baptist/URC) and Bournemouth Community Church. He led a team of students for a local church week of mission and outreach and in his third year undertook an overseas placement at a church in Africa.
His call to the Baptist Ministry and subsequently to Beulah came about through his relationship with Beulah’s Senior Pastor, Rev Dr Graham Holliday who, before coming to Beulah, was Senior Pastor at Dan’s placement church and a tutor/lecturer at Moorlands College.
Dan’s passion and gifting is pastoral but with an emphasis on mission and discipleship, particularly among young adults and young families. His hobbies and interests generally revolve around sport. He enjoys playing football, basketball, and going to the gym. He also likes walking on the beach and watching films to relax.
