Getting familiar with God’s word learning a good bible background and what this has to say about our everyday lives and situations.

The group meet in the Payne room. Using material produced by children’s ministry they look at bible stories and themes through games, discussions, reading the bible, drama, art etc. concentrating on different learning styles

To promote healthy practices for teenage girls, encouraging good self esteem and informed choices among young ladies in the community through sharing Christian values.

Monday after school 3.45pm-5pm

6-10 attendance

The group meets in the blue room and start with a structured activity before following a topic and exploring it through informal chat, group discussion and educational activities.

The group meets at the Springfield manse and share a time of fellowship (usually through a game) before a group discussion time on a topic chosen by leadership and prayer

To enable the young people to make practical sense of themselves and the world around them through actions, reflections, biblical teaching, sport and fellowship

Tuesday evenings 5.30pm-7pm

10-15 attendance

11-14 years of age

Group meets in Barnett Barn and Blue room. They start with informal free time using various equipment and structured activities, playing together, followed by a led session from leader ending with structured led group games.

To build relationships and support the young people within our community

Tuesday evening 7.30pm – 9pm

60-80 attendance

13-19 years of age

Young people meet at youth and community centre with sports hall with structured sporting activities, communal social area with activities and information on health and local events. Also included is pool, table tennis, computer games and creative areas. There are also opportunities for delivering specific curriculum sessions.

For young people and adults to engage with the wider church community. To develop and identify gifts and talents, planning, church and worship leadership.

The last Sunday evening of every month 6.30pm-7.45pm

A small group meet together thought the month (currently on Wednesdays) and take a lead in the evening service once a month

Youth worker meets with young person, sometimes in local coffee shops, another public area, church office or in young person’s house. Time usually consists of an on going bible study, encouraging a strong relationship with God through time to talk about current issues or situations and prayer

Group meet during lunch time in class room in school, starting with social activities and following discussions and activities on basic Christian issues and understandings using school live scripture union resource.

An opportunity for young people to meet and spend time together in a safe environment where they can feel free to ask, question and discuss. To provide suitable recreational activities which promote community

6 – 15 attendance

14-18 years of age

Young people from church and local community meet after evening service in the blue room and Barnett barn. They have social time in the blue room with tea and toast and structures activities set up in hall, Last meeting of the month is used to bring group together through extra activities or themed nights.

Curriculum is usually based on young peoples agenda but can cover many topic areas through informal education
