Acts chapter 1 introduces us to the growth of the Spiritual Church which we are looking at by way of developing parts 3 and 4 of the motto. In this first chapter there are so many themes which summarise the reason, growth and development of the NT church. Where there are accounts in the book of Acts, of illustrations of the themes, then we can incorporate them. We live in days more like the first century than at any other time. Taking the themes in Acts 1 and supporting them with a reading each Sunday will, hopefully, enable us to develop our spiritual life together. After Easter there are 7 more in this series.
